OnePlus becomes SK Gaming’s official smartphone sponsor. SK Gaming’s Clash Royale team finally found its sponsor. Founded in 2013, OnePlus has a very high annual turnover rate. Thanks to partnership between OnePlus and SK Gaming, team will be using OnePlus smartphones while training for tournaments and professional stage challenges.
SK Gaming is a Germany based esports organization and announced organizations sponsorship with OnePlus. OnePlus is a company that manufactures smartphones with both Android10 and Oxygen 10.0 operating systems. According to the statement, SK Gaming’s Clash Royale team was given smartphones by its sponsor, OnePlus, for Clash Royale League Finals on December 7 in Los Angeles, California. The main bracket of the tournament included 6 teams and started at 21:00 CET on Saturday. Top two teams from the CRL Asia, West, and China regions have qualified for the World Finals.
SK Gaming’s Clash Royal Team members are; Ricardo Gonçalves, Justus von Eitzen, Morten Mehmert, Samuel Klotz, Jesus Varela Ruiz, Sergio Eduardo Ramos, Javier Gutierrez and Lucas Nägeler. SK Gaming’s Team t-shirts can also be bought on the official website to support the team.
Stronger Smartphones for a Stronger Team!
Martin King, Germany Country Manager at OnePlus stated: “This cooperation came about with the idea of a need for strong smartphone, to create strong teamplay. Therefore, we are pleased to be an official smartphone partner of SK Gaming and to be able to support the players in their success in every way”.
The famous phone maker also recently signed a collaboration agreement with Super League Gaming for the PUBG Mobile North American League. Also, OnePlus signed a partnership agreement with another esports organization, Fnatic, in early 2019.
After crowning themselves champions of CRL West, SK Gaming hoped to be champion in Los Angeles. The fact remains that Team Liquid defeated SK Gaming’s Clash Royale Team in the final on December 7.
