VKLiooon Became the First Female Hearthstone World Champion

Xiaomeng “VKLiooon” Li, Chinese professional Hearthstone player has won the title of first woman Hearthstone World Champion. Pro player VKLiooon brought the prize of USD 200,000 cash and championship trophy home.

At the beginning of the Hearthstone World Championship story, VKLiooon won the open tournament to write her own name to the Blizzcon bracket. After qualifications, she beat the best Hearthstone players in the world 1V1 to become the Hearthstone Global Champion. In the final match, she won against the bloody face, who was considered today’s best Hearthstone player. VKLiooon passed undefeated whole Blizzcon Hearthstone championship with her Evolve Shaman, Quest Druid, and Highlander Hunter decks.

After the victory of the Hearthstone World Championships, she mentioned her thoughts for her fans and supporters; “Being able to participate in the Hearthstone Global Finals was the biggest goal I have achieved in my Hearthstone career.
